DCPL FYI stands for Daviess County Public Librarys Frame Your Imagination. DCPL FYI is an Augmented Reality browser that brings a new dimension to your library experience. Throughout the library and the Owensboro/Daviess County community, we have images and objects, called "triggers", that you can scan with this app. When the special triggers are scanned, content such as videos and images, called "auras", will appear right on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod!

-View artwork by local artists by using the DCPL FYI app to scan frames in our "Frame Your Imagination Gallery".

-Participate in scavenger hunts by scanning triggers with the DCPL FYI app and watching video "clues".

-Learn more about our services through video tutorials that can only be viewed by scanning triggers throughout our building or on our website using the app

-Watch reviews of books by our staff by scanning the covers of specially marked books on our shelves.

-Learn about local history by scanning designated triggers in the Daviess County area.

-Much, much more.

DCPL FYI lets you subscribe to other channels from around the world to view more augmented reality content.

You can even create your own auras to share with your friends by following the easy step-by-step instructions in the app.

DCPL FYI makes visiting the Daviess County Public Library a truly unique and interactive experience!
